Lately I have been questioning this idea of a “comfortable life.” When I first started this blog, (yes I know it has been more than a year since I started this blog and this is my first post- procrastination anyone?) I loved the idea of a blog about life and all that goes into that- for me it was the blessed opportunity to be a stay at home mom and all the things in my life that made it comfortable and special. I wanted to write about sewing and knitting, family, cooking, decorating, housekeeping, parties, and fashion.
Well, a lot has changed in my life since then. I have had to go back to work full time (not by choice) and those precious hours I was able to fill with things I wanted to do are now cut back drastically. I still love all those things and want to write about them, but I think I view them differently, maybe more appreciatively. So here goes my journey into discovering a comfortable life…
